New ABBA Museum press release
The details (thanks to Ewa Wigenheim-Westman, founder & assistant MD ABBA the Museum)
ABBA the Museum is now being constructed in Stora Tullhuset at Stadsgården in Stockholm. An interactive event building of 6,500 square metres with everything about the Swedish super group. Visitors will be able to follow a linear story starting in the early years when Björn, Benny, Agnetha and Anni-Frid had their own careers, up until 1982 when the group took a temporary break.
On the way the visitors will naturally see all the original items, but also participate in the story: sing, dance and even experience what it was like to be ABBA on stage.
ABBA the Museum will open during a glittering Opening Week June 3–7, 2009, with tents, stages, fireworks and a real party, from Stora Tullhuset, along Skeppsbron to Kungsträdgården and all over Stockholm.
The website has been completely updated today, just in time for the platinum ticket buyers to reserve their visiting times.
There’s lots of new information about the museum and more details about the opening week.
