Mamma Mia! Deluxe Edition CD

Mamma Mia! Deluxe Edition CD with bonus "Behind The Music" DVD

If you’re in the UK, you’ll find this site showing the CD on sale for £17.99. If you’re in the US, you can buy the Deluxe Edition at The big discrepancy between these two sites at the moment, is that Amazon’s tracklist for the CD shows the inclusion of what would be extra tracks – Chiquitita and I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do.

I’m sure all the details will come along shortly, and any mysteries as to the exact tracklist will be short-lived!

Update: The extra tracks mentioned above and showing on for a while did not materialise. You can read about the Deluxe CD and take a First Look on Ryan’s Incredible World.

  • Great news, sounds like an interesting bonus DVD, and probably a "must have" but I do think it is a bit unfair. The original CD was only released a few months ago and they could have easily released a "special edition" then as an alternative to the "single edition" CD, instead of people now having to pay twice and get a useless extra soundtrack CD that will just sit in its case.
Hopefully the bonus DVD will just be an edited version of "The Making of Mamma Mia", to be featured on the main DVD release, meaning it isn’t necessary to shell out for this deluxe CD just to enjoy the behind-the-scenes documentary.

  • Oops. Just re-read that the CD might include Chiquitita and I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do. That would make it a (slightly) more worthwhile release…

  • I have a distinct feeling that those outside the US will get to hear Chiquitita and I Do (x5) on the CD, also.

If not, I predict a riot! 😉 Well, maybe a quiet riot.

  • What?!?! A deluxe version of the soundtrack (something we were originally informed would NOT be happening) but still no "Waterloo" track? How many times are they going to do this before they get it right? <headdesk>

  • See an exclusive deleted scene on and type in Mamma Mia. It’s a scene between Julie Walters and Stellan Skarsgard, loaded with innuendo! Enjoy.

  • Quick note: Amazon has photos of the deluxe soundtrack box. And — get this — the tracklisting on the back of the box reads no differently from that of the standard edition.

It’s kind of unfortunate that Amazon would tease us with the chance of extra tracks, but hey, at least the same thing is being released in both the US and Europe!

  • One of my local stores in the US released it early, so I have picked up my copy of the US version and the soundtrack is identical to the previously released one. So no "Chiquitita" nor "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" nor "Waterloo". The DVD is quite good though, definitely geared towards people who care more about the music than the movie itself. 🙂

  • The bonus material lasts only 16 minutes, be careful with that.
