Björn and Frida to attend ABBAWorld London opening on 26 January
Fully approved and supported by ABBA, ABBAWORLD is a hugely interactive experience that will take visitors on a mind-blowing journey through ABBAWORLDS 25 rooms, bursting with music, footage, images and never-before-displayed memorabilia from the personal collections of the worlds most cherished pop icons: Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog.
Smash hit single Waterloo won ABBA the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton in 1974 and ABBA topped the charts in the UK more times than anywhere else in the world. There is going to be a lot of love in London next week when the UK welcome back Frida and Björn into our world, in order to celebrate everything about theirs.

Tickets are priced at £22.00 / £19.50 (subject to booking fee) and are available from www.livenation.co.uk
Does anybody know what time (approx) they will be arriving? Thanking you in advance! Craig.
Dilema….Do i spend a fortune on a train ticket and travel 220 miles to hopefully get a glimpse of Frida and Bjorn on tuesday? im already making the trip on saturday…hhmmmm
I visit the exhibition on Saturday, have to be back in Paris on Sunday evening and go to work on Monday.
But, as I planned earlier, I take the train again on Tuesday morning and I will be there on the red carpet.
Abbafan, does it help you take a decision ?
I am a bit confused as the website indicates that the world premiere is on Wednesday, 27th January? It would be lovely to meet Frida as I have missed her twice in London in the past!
Salut Frenchy
Almost the same for me I’ll Visit the exhibition on Saturday afternoon and have to be back Saturday night. I’m always expecting Frida or Bjorn this day …we will see…
Frida and Bjorn should stand on the balcony of Buckingham palace and wave at the crowds before heading to Earls court as it will be only the Long standing members of the ABBA fan club that will get to see them on Tuesday, I do believe.
(see above)It sure does Frenchy but what time does it all happen if its evening i wont make the train home. Thanks for your help.
Yes- coming from Fife in Scotland- it would be good to know when Bjorn and Frida will appear?
Well what did people think? At lot of thought and love has gone into it, but we thought it really is only for hardcore fans. Really enjoyed it though I did think there wasn’t enough focus on the music. Loved the opening video and would like to see more of this kind of thing. The holograms were great fun.
Roll on Kristina.

Any news on the timings of events happening on Tuesday night yet? Those lucky enough to have secured a ticket must know what time to arrive. Could somebody please let the fans who will be waving from behind the barriers know what time to get there to catch a glimpse of their idols! Many thanks!
The word is 7.30pm i’d get there much earlier.
The "official" time that was given us is 7:30 PM.
But of course we can’t tell you how early or late the stars will arrive.
Depending on your schedule, you may want to arrive much earlier and secure a "good" place behind the barriers.
Now, having already seen the place, I can tell you that a "hidden" entrance is possible although unlikely.
The staff will probably want to make a grand entrance and a red carpet that you will find when coming.
Hi
Just heard that Bjorn & Frida will be on BBC 1 Breakfast show tomorrow. Not too sure what time – I would guess from 8.30am onwards but could be earlier. Programme starts 6.00am – 9.15am.
I can’t make the red carpet tonight as seeing Billy Connolly (what timing!) but for those of you going – have a great time.

Sky news have just advertised ABBAWORLD and said an interview is coming up with members of ABBA.
It may go on to their interactive channels later depending what time it’s shown.
(typing this at 1733/tues 26th)
Sky news just had a live interview with Frida and Bjorn from inside ABBAWORLD.
Interview was about 5 minutes long.
Frida and Bjorn are about to come on london news itv!!! london tonight, virgin 853.
LUCKY!!! Have a great time everyone! I will be attending the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in March in New York and will see at least 3 of them live! Have a ball!!!!
Frida and Björn got out of the car, waved and went straight to the press pack to have pictures and then went in.
It was all over in about 45 seconds. I think that even beats the Mamma Mia! 1999 première.
Disappointing is an under-statement!
I found out what they looked like here: http://www.gettyimages.com/Search/Search.aspx?contractUrl=2&language=en-US&family=editorial&p=abba&assetType=image#
It was FREEZING out there tonight – teeth chattering, numb fingers and toes.
@ Jim:
How do you know at least three ABBA member will be in New York in March for the Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony?
After the disappointment of their all too brief appearance when they arrived and went straight in , about 20 of us stayed on in the freezing cold , losing all movement in fingers and toes , optimistically hoping they would reappear……and they did !!!!
Frida came out after about 40 minutes , she didn’t come over to us but hopped into a cab, saying ‘it’s too cold ‘ when we called her to come over. To be fair , she wasn’t really dressed up for the weather.
And then about 10 minutes later , Bjorn came out and came over to us to chat and sign autographs ( my first ABBA autograph ! ). He seemed relaxed and and said about the exhibition ‘its very accurate ,it is very true so you get a real sense of what we were like. I was very pleased really’ – I got that snippet on the short video I managed to get.
Thanks Bjorn !
I think it’s a shame that Frida wouldn’t come over to say "hello" and have a quick chat with the fans that were still there at the end of the night (and who had been waiting in the freezing cold all day!). Please forgive me for saying so, but I do think it’s rather ‘strange’ (so-to-speak) that the reason she wouldn’t come over was because it was "too cold" (hadn’t her loyal fans been waiting all day in that weather?), when Frida lives in Zermatt, Switzerland? I mean, I’m not an expert on the average temperature or climate of Zermatt, but as there always seems to be a lot of ice and snow, then I’m assuming it wouldn’t be a very warm place to live.
