Benny Andersson “with friends” to play show in October (Updated)

More details to follow but following on from the news of Benny Andersson’s new organ piece for the brand new organ in Piteå, I can now reveal (thanks to Jan for the notice) that “Benny Anderson with friends” will play at the Acusticum, Piteå on October 21.
You will find links below that give some background information as to what Benny will be doing just south of the Arctic Circle in October as well as a list of all the events that make up the Organ Symposium Festival.
Does this mean he’ll be on the organ himself playing the new piece? I hope so. I’ve been afraid he would just hand it off to somebody else to play.
I think this will be spectacular! Looking forward to hearing Benny’s new music on this unique organ. Wish I could be there, but I’m sure it will be filmed, recorded and released… 🙂
It seems there will only be one concert 21 October at 1600 hours!
I just got tickets for the event so I should know!
