“…German versions of Honey, Honey and Ring Ring…”
For sure, this means the version of ‘Honey Honey’ as it was released in Germany.
There was no german language version of ‘Honey Honey’ recorded by ABBA.
As far as we know.
Should not disc 29 be backed with “As Good As New”? Can this corrected in time? Or is it a mistake in the listing? This set is beautiful and well considered. I only miss “Hasta Mañana” as it was a number 9 hit here in New Zealand. Well done all involved.
As the Box Set is very expensive I don’t think that the ‘correct’ A or B Sides should have been used if it meant that a Track was duplicated. For example, I think it is rather silly that Single 29, (Estoy Sonando), should have Does Your Mother Know chosen for its B-Side, when it is also the A Side of Single 27. It was only the B-Side of Estoy Sonando in Argentina. It would have been far better, & more sensible if either As Good As New or the Spanish Knowing Me, Knowing You had been chosen as they were its B-Side elsewhere, & either would have given the Box Set an added different ABBA Track. To me that was a rather pointless decision for the B-Side of that Single. I see that Watch Out, & Honey Honey are also duplicated. I think that Ring Ring is in twice too.
I wonder what source tapes were used for this. Original multitracks?
