  • Hi!

I think “Course price” refers to students as that’s how it is in Finnish and Swedish. Just bought tickets for March 2nd and 3rd. Premiere tickets are not on sale now.

    Regards,

    Jarkko

  • Thanks Jarkko! That makes perfect sense 🙂

  • Anyone having major problems navigating the online booking site – fine in English until the last bit with ticket allocation – processes card payment but doesn’t then give you the option to print off your tickets as promised.
It’s charged by credit card but no email confirmation or anything.
Any one found this or booked successfully.
I was getting a dead line for the phone number unless that’s what the engaged sound is in Finland?

  • Hi!

I was able to buy tickets online for 2 dates, but it was not that easy as sometimes after getting tickets in my basket, they disappeared when I tried to continue with the process.
The engaged sound is like tooooo-tooooo-tooo, so short sounds fast….when it is normal sound, it is just tooo (pause) toooo (pause). I hope this helpls

  • just succeeded booking tickets tickets for kristina on may 26th . Although you can change the language of the site to english (or swedish, like i did). Once you ‘re actually on the booking page itself, everything is in finish.

So I used google translate in order to translate in order to which button to press.
That might be helpful for others too.

  • Managed to book today via the phoneline – got through straight away.
Very helpful lady – the whole set up is very trusting – you give your details – they email you confirmation and then there is a link to pay on line. Tickets are reserved for 1 month to make payment and then posted to you.
She laughed saying that they had been inundated with bookings from abroad.

  • I think it’s going to be a pricey trip! Is it a fixed run, does anyone know? – can’t see a closing date

  • Think it’s part of a rep season with it playing 2 -3 weeks then having a week off. I think this is so other productions are rotatedand they are even playing the same theatre on matinee and evening performances during Kristina’s run. It sounds a bit like London’s National Theatre where demand and scheduling enable the venue to be maximised for the entire week meaning complicated scheduling.
Interesting that the performances alternate at 12.00pm and 6.30pm. The 12 slot is very early and interesting for a mid week, but I’d imagine given the length of thr show enables crew to have a turn around slot to mount the next productions performance for that day.

  • Can anyone give me the e-mail address for the Svenska Teatern ticket office to book Kristina tickets? Thanks

  • I booked my tickets on the following finnish site:
    http://www.lippu.fi
write “kristina” in the search field and you will easily find it – very easy!
    Enjoy!

  • Thank you so much,Adam..it will be along journey from Cornwall to Helsinki but worth it I am sure

  • Please try and get the more expensive seats as forward as possible if you choose the balcony otherwise part of your view will be blocked by pillars and heads!!!

If I were you I would wait until the seats for 2013 will be released to be sure to get really good seats with a good view!

Enjoy a great musical the trip will be definately worth while! 🙂

  • Does anyone know if there are performances between 30May and 12Sep12? I will visit Helsinki in June and intended to see the show but there is no option to buy tickets online during these dates… thanks for a response!
